Ladakh with Nubra Valley & Pangong Lake

 

Option A
(Delhi – Leh – Delhi by air)

Day Programme
Depart for Delhi by late night flight.
Depart for Leh by air early morning (1 hour). After rest proceed for a visit to Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace and the Mall. O/N hotel stay at Leh.
Half a day excursion to Alchi village, Spituk and Likir Gompa. O/N hotel stay at Leh.
Day trip to the spectacular Pangong Lake. Visit Thiksey monastery, Shey Palace and Hemis monastery en-route.  O/N hotel stay at Leh.
Proceed for Nubra Valley (6 hours) via Khardung- La, the highest motorable road in the world. Visit Hundar and experience a short Camel Safari. O/N stay in comfortable tents at Nubra valley near Deskit.
Return to Leh. River rafting on Indus (Optional). O/N hotel stay at Leh.
Depart early morning for Delhi by air. Upon arrival at Delhi depart for Mumbai by  air. Tour ends.

Option B
(One way by road via Manali)
Day Programme
Depart for Delhi by train. O/N travel by train.
Arrive at Delhi. Depart for Manali by luxury bus. O/N travel by bus.  (Alternatively you can arrive at Delhi this day by air )
Arrive at Manali early morning. Transfer to hotel. Day at leisure for rest and acclimatization. O/N hotel stay at Manali.
Depart early morning for Keylong by road (7 hours). Transfer to hotel. O/N stay at Keylong.
Depart early morning for Sarchu (5 hours). Transfer to wilderness camp. O/N camping at Sarchu.
Depart for Leh after breakfast (8 hours). Arrive at Leh by late afternoon. Transfer to hotel / guest house (1 hour). In the evening proceed for a visit to Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace and the Mall. O/N stay in a hotel at Leh.
