Kailash Mansarovar

The holy Mansarovar or the Mansa-sarovar is the holiest, the most fascinating, the most inspiring, the most famous of all the lakes in the world, and the most ancient that civilization has known. It is majestically calm and dignified, like a bluish green emerald or a pure turquoise between two mighty and equally majestic silver mountains. Mount Kailash is situated in Tibet where it is given the dignified title of 'Kang Rampoche' meaning 'Precious Jewel'. Near Mount Kailash, during the geological shift in the initial statges of the formation of the Himalayan mountain chain four rivers arose from the area, flowing in four different directions : the Indus flowed north, the Karnali south, the Yarlung Tsangpo flowed east and Sutlej travelled west. Travel to Kathmandu with sightseeing. 2 night stay in Kathmandu

3-4

Drive from Kathmandu to Nyalamu.( Altitude: 3534mts). 2 night stay at Naylamu for acclimatization.
5-7

Drive to Saga (Alt: 4267mts) via Lalung La.(Alt: 5050mts), Paryang (Alt: 4315mts) , Mayum La (Alt: 4630mts).Parikrama of Manasarovar.

• Overnight stay at Saga
• Overnight stay at Paryang
• Overnight stay at Mansarovar
8-9

Drive to Darchen- Base of Mt. Kailash (Alt: 4575mts), Tarboche (Alt: 4606mts). Trek through Shersong to Dirapuk.(Alt:4909mts).

• Overnight at Darchen
• Overnight camping at Dirapuk
10-11

Trek to Dolma La- highest altitude (Alt:5630mts), Chukkir Villy (Alt:5150 mts), Darchen. Drive to Mansarovar.

• Overnight camping
• Overnight at Mansarovar
12-15

Drive to Paryang, Saga, Nyalamu, Kathmandu.

• Overnight at Paryang
• Overnight at Saga
• Overnight at Nyalamu
• Overnight at Kathmandu

Depart for Mumbai / Bangalore / Kolkata/ Chennai.
