   PROGRAMME

01

Depart for Kolkata by train. O/N travel by train.

Arrive at Howrah, depart for New Jalpaiguri. O/N travel by train. ( Alternatively you can arrive at Kolkata this day by air )

Arrive at New Jalpaiguri in the morning, depart for Phuntsholing by road (4 hours). Explore Phuntsholing, a trading town of Bhutan across the border. O/N hotel stay at Phuntsholing.

04

Depart for Thimphu by road. (7 hours). Arrive by late afternoon. Day at leisure. O/N hotel stay at Thimphu.

05

Visits to places of interest in and around Thimphu. Visit the Chorten, Handicraft center, Dzong, BBS and Takin sanctuary. O/N hotel stay at Thimphu.

06

Half a day excursion to spectacular Cherry Monastery. After lunch proceed for Paro by road (2 hours). Visit The National Museum, and The Mall. O/N hotel stay at Paro.

07

Visit to places of interest in and around and around Paro. Visit Drugyel Dzong & Drugyel Village and the monastery. O/N hotel stay at Paro.

08

A short and exhilarating trek to Taktsang Monastery (optional). Visit to a typical Bhutanese village. O/N hotel stay at Paro.

09

Depart early morning for New Jalpaiguri by road via Phuntsholing. Arrive at Phuntsholing by evening. Depart for Kolkata by train. O/N travel by train.

10

Arrive at Kolkata early morning. Upon arrival depart for Mumbai / Delhi / Bangalore by train / air. Tours ends.
