Arrive Guwahati by 9.30 a.m. After rest and refreshment, drive to Bhalukpong by jeep/sumo (243 km / 6hrs). Bhalukpong is in the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh. A wonderful place for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, hikers, rafters, and anglers. Bhalukpong is the gateway to popular destinations like Bomdila and Tawang. It is on the Kameng river and lies along the dense forest. Strategically placed near the border of Assam. Arrive Bhalukpong by evening. Transfer to hotel/guest house. Evening at leisure with a walk along river Kameng / Jia Bhoreli. Overnight at Bhalukpong. |

After an early breakfast depart for Tawang (Land of Monpas). The drive from Dirang to Tawang through the famous Se-la (13700 ft. M.S.L.), the highest motorable pass in the North East, is a very thrilling experience, this route is quite scenic. Lunch will be provided enroute. Arrive Tawang by 3.30 / 4.00 pm. Transfer to hotel. After rest and refreshment proceed for a visit to the local market and a walk in this quaint hamlet where we can see houses built with stones and timbers. Overnight at Tawang. |

After an early breakfast proceed for a visit to the Fetching Heaven (17 km / 1 hr) which is famous for the beautiful Pankang Teng (P.T. Tso) Lake situated amidst breathtaking natural surroundings. Therafter proceed further to the tibetian plateau, Bumla (India-China Border). The 40 kms drive to Bumla from Tawang is one of the most treacherous in the frontline. With near sub zero temperature and a height of 15500 feet. Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch and rest proceed for a visit to the famous Twang Monastery, one of the most important element in social and religious life of the Monpas. This Monastery is known as “GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE”. It is one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia and is about 400 hundred years old, followed by a visit to Gyangong Ani Gompa, Gyangong Ani Gompa is beautiful nunnery having about 50 buddhist nuns. Thereafter proceed for a visit to Tawang War memorial. It is a beautiful Stupa, dedicated to the memory of those brave soldiers who made supreme sacrifice defending the frontiers of the Mother Land during 1962 Indo-China War. Return to hotel by evening. Overnight at Tawang. |

After breakfast proceed for a visit to Zimithang, Arrive Zimithang by 11.30 am proceed for a visit to to the impressive Gorsam Chorten. Lunch at Zimithang, after lunch proceed for a visit to the Tatsang gompa, the Khinme monastery and the Singshur nunnery. The Sangeshar Lake, en route, is one of myriad lakes that make Tawang the splendid haven. Return by evening. Overnight at Tawang. |

After early breakfast depart for Bomdila via Dirang by road (102 kms / 4 hrs). Bomdila is the headquaters of West Kameng, located at an altitude of about 8500 ft above sea level. Transfer to hotel followed by late lunch by 2.00 pm. After rest and refreshment proceed for a visit to the local market followed by a visit to the Craft Centre, where one gets to see very fine hand woven carpets of colourful designs and masks. Return to hotel by 7.00 pm Evening at leisure. Overnight at Bomdila. |

After breakfast depart for Rupa Valley (120 kms / 3hrs). Located at an altitude of 1408 m above sea level lies in the middle of four mountains with the sight of two rivers on both sides of the village. Evening at leisure with a Bon Fire. After dinner proceed for a Nature trail in the forest area. Overnight at Rupa. |
