Annapurna Base Camp Trek

This circuit is considered one of the best treks in the world. The trail offers some of the most breathtaking sceneries characterized by lofty snow cover peaks, rivers, flora, fauna and wilderness. The trail passes through villages inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups..

 

 

 

 

DAY

   PROGRAMME
01

Depart for Delhi by 2951 Rajdhani Express (Dep.). O/N travel by train.
02

Arrive at New Delhi. Fly to Kathmandu. Evening at leisure. O/N hotel stay at Kathmandu.

03

Proceed for Pokhara by road (7 hrs) . Evening at leisure. O/N hotel stay at Pokhara.

04

Trek day – 01
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and thereafter trek to Ulleri. (5 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. ( Altitude : 2,080 mt)
05

Trek day – 02
Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani. (6 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut.

06

Trek day – 03
Morning, excursion to Poon. (6 hrs) hill followed by trek to Kimrong..O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 2,340 mt)
07

Trek day – 04
Trek from Kimrong to Bamboo. (6 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 2,310 mt)
08

Trek day – 05
Trek from Bamboo to Deurali. (6 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 2,555 mt)
09

Trek day – 06
Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp. (5 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 4,130 mt)

Trek day – 07
Trek from Annapurna Base Camp –Bamboo. (6 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 2,310 mt

Trek day – 08
Trek from Bamboo to Ghandruk. (6 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 1,940 mt)

12

Trek day – 09
Trek from Ghandruk to Pokhara. (4 hrs). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 910 mt)

13

Depart for Kathmandu by road. O/N hotel stay at Kathmandu.
14

Depart for Delhi by air. Upon arrival depart for Mumbai / Delhi / Bangalore by train or air. Trekking programme ends.

   Dzongri
   SIKKIM
   Experience Kanchenjunga up close….

This is one of the most pristine and densely forested trails in the Himalayas. Dzongri is situated at an altitude of about 4020 M, in west Sikkim. It offers the trekker a most fascinating close-up view of Kanchenjunga and Mt. Pandim. To the west rises the long outline of the Kyangla ridge. The trek offers excellent opportunities for bird watching too. The trail is used by the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute for their training courses as well.


 

 

DAY

   PROGRAMME
01

Depart for Kolkata by train. O/N travel by train.
02

Arrive at Kolkata and depart for New Jalpaiguri by train. O/N travel by train.
(Alternatively you can arrive at Kolkata this day by air )
03

Arrive at New Jalpaiguri and proceed for Yuksom by road (6 hours). O/N hotel stay at Yuksom.
04

Trek day 01
Yuksom to Sa Chen. (6 kms).O/N camping at Sa Chen. (Altitude: 2,424 mt).
05

Trek day 02 .
Sa Chen to Tsokha. (6 kms). O/N camping at Tsokha. (Altitude: 3,030 mt).
06

Trek day 03
Tsokha to Dzongri. (12 kms). O/N stay in trekker’s hut. (Altitude: 4,242mt).
07

Trek day 04
Dzongri to Tsokha. O/N camping at Tsokha.
08

Trek day 05
Tsokha to Yuksom. O/N hotel stay at Yuksom.
09

Depart for Gangtok by road (5hours) after breakfast. Visit Enchey Monastery, Flower Hall, Handicraft market and the Mall Rd. O/N hotel stay at Gangtok.
10

Half-day excursion to the spectacular Changu Lake. In the Evening visit Rumtek Monastery. O/N hotel stay at Gangtok.
11

Depart for New Jajpaiguri by road (4 hours) and later depart for Kolkata by train. O/N travel by train.
12

Arrive at Kolkata. Upon arrival at Delhi depart for Mumbai / Kolkata / Bangalore by air /train.
Trekking programme ends.
